Yep, you got that right! The Swimming Pigs of the Abacos.
As always, the trip was awesome but too short. Only two days with really good wind for sailing but we made the best of it.
This trip we sailed to Nunjack Cay, No Name Cay (Home to the Swimming Pigs), Hopetown, Tahiti Beach and Tiloo Cay. While we anchored off The Lighthouse in Hopetown, we made some good use of our time. Two trips up the mast in the bosun's chair (one to replace the WiFi extender antenna and a second trip up the mast just for fun! We also attended the Hopetown Children's Christmas Play. The kids did a great job!
Time spent at Tahiti Beach and Tillo Cay was disconnect time. Time to unwind, read and relax (well we always do all three). The sunsets were awesome (as always) and were each toasted with "sundowners".
The only bad part of the trip was that we didn't catch any fish or lobsters. We're beginning to think that we would starve if we had to depend on our fishing skills. Next trip our first stop will be at the local fishing tackle store to see what lures work best in this part of the world. Thanks for checking in on us! Fair winds and Smooth Seas!
